Susana Zavala-Hernandez, 34, passed away peacefully after a battle with breast cancer on Monday, February 3, 2020 at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born and raised in Azucualpa, Honduras, she has been living in New Brunswick for the past thirteen years.
Susana enjoyed singing, dancing and devoting all her time to her three daughters, husband and her family.
She was a loving wife to Manuel Zamora, a cherished mother to her daughters, Grace A., Giselle E. and Gianna J. Zamora, a beloved daughter to Francisco Zavala and Delia Hernandez and a dear sister to Lourdes Guzman, Maria del Rosaria Zavala, Delmi Xiomara Zavala Antunez, Marta Enriqua Zavala, Anastacia Zavala, Jose Edardo Zavala, Luis Alonso Zavala, Edgar Ramon Zavala, Aracely Hernandez and Irma Elizabeth Arauz and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Visitation will take place at the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church, 75 Morris Street, New Brunswick, NJ at 10 am. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick, NJ.
