Mrs. Shirley Dorfman

Shirley Dorfman(nee Fisher) 92, was born November 25, 1928 in Passaic, New Jersey to Charles and Tessie Fisher. She lived in NJ for the majority of her life, however, when her son Robert and his family moved to Atlanta, GA, she and her husband relocated to Atlanta as well. While there, Shirley and her husband owned a dry cleaning business for many years and her hobbies included latch hooking, reading, and spending time with her family. In later years, Shirley returned to Edison, NJ and worked in retail before retiring. In her final years, Shirley resided at the Regency Jewish Heritage in Somerset, NJ. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years, Joseph, and her beloved son, Robert Dorfman, as well as her sister and brother. Shirley had a strong sense of family and a strong will to live. She loved with all of her heart. She is survived by her devoted daughter-in-law Debbie Dorfman as well as her three cherished grandchildren, Samantha, Jaime and Noah(Carolyn) Dorfman, as well as two great grandchildren, Judah and Tyler Dorfman. She also is survived by her niece, Susan Wenger and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all of her family.
