Samuel Schmidt, 91, passed away on Thursday, April2, 2015 at the University Medical Center of Princeton in Plainsboro, NJ. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and has spent the last thirty years between Concordia and Clearbrook Village in Monroe, NJ.
He was and avid tennis player for over seventy years and was a member of the Tennis Club of Clearbrook.
Samuel had served in the US Army during World War II. Upon his return, he began his career and spent many years as a furniture salesman for Bloomingdales in New York City.
Samuel was predeceased by his parents and his survived by his long time companion Gloria Cohn and her children.
Funeral service will take place on Sunday, April 5th at 1:00pm at Anshe Emeth Memorial, 222 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ.
Arrangements are under the the direction of the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ.
