Mrs. Ruth-Ann Breitler

November 19, 1966 — October 4, 2022

Ruth-Ann Breitler, age 55, left the burdens of this world behind on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, just moments before the High Holy Day of Yom Kippur began. In the Jewish tradition, this signifies a person of great character. Ruth-Ann was superlative in many ways. She possessed breathtaking physical beauty, and even more emotional and spiritual beauty. She was a highly trained textile and quality assurance engineer and possessed an active and socially conscious mind. She was a true loving partner of her husband of nearly 30 years, Rabbi Robert L. Wolkoff, and the proud mother of Alex, Joseph, and Dahlia. She is also survived by her loving parents, Dr. Alan and Mrs. Elaine (Katz) Breitler.

Ruth-Ann has touched many people, and been touched by many people, in her all-too-short life. She leaves behind an extraordinary array of devoted friends, and of grateful congregants who so appreciated her wisdom and caring.

The funeral will be held Friday at 10 AM at Congregation B’nai Tikvah, 1001 Finnegan's Lane, North Brunswick, NJ, with burial to follow at Washington Cemetery on Deans Rhode Hall Road, North Brunswick, NJ.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Congregation B'nai Tikvah, JNF and Hadassah.
