It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the incomprehensible loss of Randi Chandel Vickers who passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022.
Randi was born on July 28, 1965, in New Brunswick to her parents, Walter Vickers and Celeste Powell.
Randi was predeceased by her father, Walter Vickers and her niece Senora Love Parham.
Randi is survived by her husband, Leonard (Dale) Hodge, her sons, Anthony Ingram (Daynel Laureano), Andre Vickers (Nicole DelMasto), her mother, Celeste Powell-Vickers, her sisters, Marcia-Rita Vickers and nephew, Jordan Vickers, Jacqueline Rose Vickers, Celeste Nicole Parham (Tony), Senora Smart (Anderson), uncles, Fred Mikel Powell (Denise Page), Anthony Johnson (Cathy) and Curtis Henderson (Valerie) her aunt, Sandra Henderson, her nephews, Jared Smart, Terrence Taqiy Jones and nieces, Courtney Van Leuvan-Monroe, Dallas Smart, Desiree Francis, Trevalia Hodge, David Thomas III and Tania Jones, stepsons, Dale & Sean Hodge, brother-in-laws, Curtis and Will Hodge, family friends Erica Caldwell, Noretta Perkins, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
We cannot put into words the depth of our gratitude for the gift of Randi in our lives. She was and will continue to be our guardian Angel guiding us when we feel the world is against us, when we need a shoulder to lean on, when we feel that we’re alone, when we need motivation to be our best selves, or when we have doubts. In honor of Randi we must do like she always said “show up, and show out”. We love you, we celebrate you, “all day, everyday”.
Relatives and friend are invited to attend calling hours 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm Saturday February 26th at the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick NJ. For those entering the funeral home, all will be required to wear a mask.
The repast will be held at the VFW Hall, 45 Broad Street, Milltown, NJ 08850 at 4pm.
