Morris "Moe" Mordoh, 89, passed away Monday, September 16, 2013 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was born in New Brunswick and was a lifelong resident of Edison.
Moe own and operated his business "Moe's Barbershop" in Piscataway for more than 50 years. He loved music and was also a working musician most of his life.
Moe was proud of his years in the service during World War II, as he survived in three major battles under General George Patton. He was awarded three Gold Medals, and a Distinguished Service Medal.
He was predeceased by his parents Isaac and Anna (Davis) Mordoh, his brother David, his sisters Mary Wishinsky and Goldie Kuhn. Moe is survived by his children Stuart Mordoh, of Ringoes, NJ, his daughter April E. Chartier and her husband Will, his beloved companion Maureen Bousquet and his five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, his brother Sam and his sister Rachel. He will be in our hearts forever.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 18th at 12:00pm at Congregation Etz Ahaim, 230 Dennison Street, Highland Park, NJ. Interment Poile Zedek Cemetery, Joyce Kilmer Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ.
