Mildred Rosenberg Mironov, 98, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2024, at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro Township, NJ, surrounded by cherished family. She was born on May 15, 1926, in Highland Park, NJ. Mildred was the youngest daughter of Charlotte and Joseph Rosenberg.
The name "Mildred" means Gentle Strength - a perfect description of her essence. Mildred was a very loving woman in all her roles as mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, wife and daughter. She was always kind and warm to everyone. Beloved especially by her children, grandchildren, husband and siblings; all her extended family and people whose lives she touched with her kindness and generosity.
Mildred graduated from Highland Park High School in 1944. Later in life, she worked 25 years as a Job Placement Interviewer for New Jersey State Employment Services. She loved her job and very much enjoyed helping others find employment. She earned the gratitude of those she helped and earned the respect and love of her colleagues.
Mildred was the beloved wife of Irving Mironov, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage until his passing in 2003. Mildred is survived by her children, Stanford A. Mironov (Joan Lerman), Arlene Mironov Rosenberg (Paul Rosenberg), and Janice Mironov Anastasia (Phil Anastasia); her grandchildren, Amy, Alex, Max, and Marcy; and her great-granddaughter, Nola.
Funeral Services will be held 12:00 PM, Monday, September 30, 2024, Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ. Burial will immediately follow at Beth Israel Cemetery, 1098 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge, NJ.
