Michael Edward Weiss, 70, of North Brunswick, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017. Mr. Weiss was born in the Bronx, New York and lived in the Fords section of Woodbridge Township and Perth Amboy during his childhood years, graduating from Perth Amboy High School in 1965. Michael graduated from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science in 1970 with a B.Sc. degree in pharmacy and worked in retail pharmacy as a registered pharmacist for his entire 40-year career. He was owner and chief pharmacist of North Brunswick Pharmacy from 1983 to 1993 and worked for several other pharmacies over the years. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Janet; his sister Marilyn and brother-in-law Dennis; his brother-in-law Ross Cooper; his mother-in-law Rosalyn Cooper and his children Jonathan Weiss and his wife Irene; Steven Weiss and his wife Nicole; and David Weiss. He will be missed by his two grandchildren, Eve and Henry who adored him. He served for several years as Chair of the North Brunswick Township Traffic Safety Committee, as President of the North Brunswick Township High School Band Parents Association, and most recently as Administrative Vice President of Congregation B’nai Tikvah among several other positions. Michael was also an Associate Member of the Raritan Valley Chapter of Hadassah and held a brown belt in Judo. His hobbies and interests included skydiving, football, baseball, softball, and trips to Disney World.
Funeral Services were held on Sunday, Dec. 24th at Congregation B’nai Tikvah, North Brunswick. Interment followed at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ.
Arrangements were by the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ.

Shiva will be sat at the family home Sunday, Dec 24th through Thurs., Dec. 28th from 1-4 & 7-9 pm with minyan at 8 pm.
