Ms. Matilde C. Perez Gomez

Matilde C. Perez Gomez, 56, of North Brunswick, passed away at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick after a long hard battle with cancer. Born and raised in Mao, Dominican Republic, she came to the United States nearly 27 years ago. Matilde spent the last years living in North Brunswick, NJ.

Matilde was a workaholic, at times, being employed at three different jobs in a day. Before taking ill, she was working as a selector for Barnes & Noble Distribution Center in Monroe, NJ.

She enjoyed playing the NJ Lottery, cooking and baking. Matilde was a great fan of karaoke and dancing.

Matilde was predeceased by her father, Luis Fernando Perez Cruz and her daughter, Elizabeth Colon Perez, she will be truly missed by her devoted mother, Isabel Maria Gomez Reyes, beloved longtime companion, Hilario Marmolejos, her loving sons Osmaldy Colon Perez, Osvaldo A. Perez and Peter Francisco Perez, her cherished grandchildren, Isabella, Dominic, Christian, Samuel, (on the way),Escamila, Benjamin and Sebastian, and her dear sister and brothers, Dioncia Perez Gomez, Ramoon Fernando Perez, Carlos Jose Perez Gomez, Luis Fernando Perez Gomez, Jose Aquino Perez Gomez and Luis Fernando Dario Urena

Visitation will be held at the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ on Sunday, June 26, 2022 from 3 - 7 pm. Funeral Blessing at 6 pm.


Matilde C. Pérez Gómez, de 56 años, de North Brunswick, falleció en el Hospital Universitario Robert Wood Johnson, New Brunswick, después de una larga y dura batalla contra el cáncer. Nacida y criada en Mao, República Dominicana, llegó a los Estados Unidos hace casi 27 años. Matilde pasó los últimos años viviendo en North Brunswick, NJ. Matilde era una adicta al trabajo, a veces, estaba empleada en tres trabajos diferentes en un día. Antes de enfermarse, trabajaba como seleccionadora para Barnes & Noble Distribution Center en Monroe, NJ. Le gustaba jugar a la lotería de NJ, cocinar y hornear. Matilde era una gran aficionada al karaoke y al baile. Matilde falleció antes que su padre, Luis Fernando Pérez Cruz y su hija, Elizabeth Colon Perez, su devota madre, Isabel Maria Gomez Reyes, su amada compañera de mucho tiempo, Hilario Marmolejos, sus amados hijos Osmaldy Colon Perez, Osvaldo A, la extrañarán mucho.
