Matilde C Garcia

Matilde Disla-Duran de Garcia passed away on October 27, 2023 at her home in Somerset, NJ. She was born on July 13, 1955, in the Dominican Republic to Rafael Disla and Rosa Duran.

Matilde was an amazing daughter, supportive sister, devoted wife, loving mother, caring aunt and reliable friend. Her parents imparted to her the importance of unity, a baton she carried and enforced with family and friends. She was truly one of a kind and always encouraged everyone to have fun and pursue the things they loved. 

Matilde enjoyed playing dominoes, Bingo, going to the casino, dancing, watching baseball, soccer, novelas , the price is right etc. She was a woman of many passions. 

Matilde’s cheerful spirit, which always gleamed the brightest in any room she walked in, will never be forgotten. She will be remembered as a strong Warrior Wonder Woman.
Matilde is survived by her husband, Freddy Garcia and children, Alberto Ulloa and Katherine Garcia Disla.
