MaryAnn Bisogno Balogh
MaryAnn Bisogno Balogh passed away peacefully at home after a long, courageous battle against Alzheimer’s disease. She was 78, and at the time of her passing was surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in New Brunswick, she lived in Piscataway for many years before moving to Somerset in 1992.
After graduating New Brunswick High School in 1954, MaryAnn went to work for Chicopee Paper in Milltown as an Executive Secretary in the research department. In 1961 she married the love of her life, John Balogh. She proudly stayed home after the birth of her first daughter to take care of her family and make a home for them.
She enjoyed trips to New York City, down the shore, particularly Cape May, and anywhere there was family, friends, and fun to be had. She loved to laugh, to sing, and loved anything having to do with the common thread of family gathered around.
She was predeceased by her husband John in 1979, her brother Anthony Jr. (Butchie), her parents Anthony and Anna, her brother Joseph, and her sister Nancy.
She is survived by her three daughters Nancy and her husband Chris, of Long Valley, Maria of Somerset, Linda of Somerset, and her sister Antoinette (Toni) Manley of New Brunswick, as well as her many nieces and nephews and their children who she loved very much. She is also survived by her loyal dog, Max.
If callers so choose, they may make a donation in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer’s Association, or to Life Choice Hospice.
Funeral arrangements will be private.
