Mrs. Marla Struminger

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Marla Struminger, beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. After a two year battle with cancer, which she fought valiantly until the end, she passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her immediate family. Marla was a firecracker who lit up every room she walked into. Born and raised in Toronto, Canada to Lou and Betsy Fruitman, she joined older sisters Pamela and Lisa to complete the family. Marla was a passionate marketer and event planner in Toronto, who wooed clients with her extremely outgoing personality. She met the love of her life Ronald Struminger in 2002, and moved to New Jersey soon after to begin their life together. They soon welcomed children Jarod and Phoebe into their lives, which completed their million-dollar family. While her battle has come to an end, the impact she has made and her memory will live on forever. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 12 pm at Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple, 222 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ. Interment to follow at Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Morganville, NJ.
