Marilyn L. Ross was born to Yvonne Miller-Ross (Campbell) and the late Harold Ross on January 19, 1954 in New Brunswick, NJ at Middlesex General Hospital.
Marilyn Ross was known as (Marl) to many but family as Aunt Marl. She was a very strong and independent woman who always protected her family and close friends. One of her most important things was being Nana and spending time with her grandchildren who she loved dearly. They were her greatest gift besides her two children Timothy L. Ross and Jennifer L. Ross. She held a special place in her heart for all her nieces and nephews. Barbara Davis was her dear sister friend whom she shared an unbreakable bond with for over 50 years. Everyone knew that she was one of the best card players and enjoyed playing the game with loved ones. In addition, she enjoyed going to garage sales, finding bargains, and quiet moments at the beach. She was famous for her potluck and spaghetti. As strict, as she was she had compassion and a heart for so many. During her child and adolescent years, being the oldest child she took leadership in caring for her younger siblings. That same leadership led her to obtain a certificate as a CNA after attending New Brunswick High School. Throughout her career, she worked for several years at both Willow Creek formerly known as (King James) and Rose Mountain Nursing Home. In her lifetime, she had the pleasure of living in Florida where she got to utilize her secretarial skills as a paralegal and indulged in her favorite pass time being at the beach. We all will miss her loving fierce personality dearly and she will continue to live in our hearts forever.
