Maria E. Davila, 60, of Monmouth Junction, NJ passed away at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ on Saturday, June 12, 2021. Born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, came to New Brunswick in the late 1960's, she resided for the past few years in Monmouth Junction with her loving son, Danny.
Maria attended New Brunswick High School, then began her career in housekeeping. She worked in the housekeeping departments of the Marriot Hotel in Somerset and St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick before starting her own business. Maria was a housekeeper for many of the local families for many years.
Maria was a very nurturing, loving and caring person. She would care for strangers, family members, friends and did everything with love. Maria also loved to cook.
Maria was predeceased by her parents Rafael Davila and Gloria Melendez-Diaz, and is survived by her loving son, Danny Sanchez, her dear brothers and sisters, Angel Davila, Carmen Nay, Emiliano Davila, Ivette Davila and Felix Davila, her aunts and uncles, Francisco (Paco) Diaz, Crucita Diaz, Aida Santiago, Rosa Scott, Magdalena Melendez and Carmen Davila, and her many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will take place at the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick on Friday, June 18, 2021, from 10 am-12pm. Funeral Service will begin at 9:30 am at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
