Malcolm Robert Busch of Highland Park, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 12, 2023 surrounded by his family at the age of 88 years. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Barbara T. Busch; his children, Matthew Busch (Julie Wood), Karen Anolick (David Anolick), and Andrew Busch (Debbie Pine); his grandchildren, Johanna (Jacob), Eden, Ben, Melissa, and Ethan. He is also survived by his brothers, Ronald Busch and Bertram (Linda) Busch; his sister-in-law Linda Stamler; many cousins, nephews, and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents Lewis and Jeanette Busch. Malcolm was an attorney, practicing for his entire 6 decade career with his family at Busch & Busch (originally in New Brunswick, now North Brunswick). He was a past president of Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple in New Brunswick, serving as the congregation’s legal counsel for many years. He was given a Lifetime Community Service Award by New Brunswick Tomorrow for his service as its legal advisor from its inception through several decades. Malcolm graduated from New Brunswick High School, Rutgers University, and Yale Law School. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the Order of the Coif. He shared a mutual respect and love with his clients, other lawyers, friends, and family. Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple, 222 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ. Interment to follow at Beth Israel Cemetery, Hanover, NJ. Services entrusted to Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, New Brunswick, NJ.
