Mrs. Leny Kasner Struminger

Leny Struminger of New Brunswick, NJ and New York City passed away suddenly Tuesday, October 19th. Born in Romania September 29, 1940 she came to the United States in 1964 with her husband Jay and daughter Janin. A son Ronald followed five years later. From the start, the goal was to pursue the American dream. Ultimately she landed at Rutgers University where she spent many years in library science educating graduate students for over 20 years while receiving a PhD of her own. Leny’s two main passions in life were travel and bridge. It was through these interests that she made friends around the world. In addition to Janin and Ronald, she is survived by daughter-in-law Marla and grandchildren Sarah, Jonah, Jarod, and Phoebe. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
