Mr. Karoly Kristof, 88, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at his home. He was born and raised in Hungary.
Karoly worked as a conductor on the Hungarian Railroad before moving to the United States in 1956. When he arrived in America he worked as a mechanic for Bristol-Myers Squibb for 20 years.
A life time member of the Hungarian American Athletic Club, (HAAC), New Brunswick, where he helped out until he took ill a few months ago. Karoly enjoyed engaging you in conversation and socializing.
Predeceased by his parents Jozef and Rozilie and his 5 siblings, he is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Juliana (Dudas), nieces, nephews and many friends.
Private services were held under the direction of the Gowen Funeral Home, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 1 pm at St. Ladislaus RC Church, (Holy Family Parish), 215 Somerset Street, New Brunswick. Followed by placement into his niche at Franklin Memorial Park, New Brunswick, NJ.
