Julia (Paller) Fliszar, 97, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at her home in North Brunswick. Born and raised in New Brunswick, NJ, she moved to North Brunswick in 1972.
Julia was a Supervisor for New Jersey Bell in Hopelawn, NJ for many years until her retirement.
She was a member of the North Brunswick Ladies Club and St. Peter's Ladies Auxiliary. Julia was a congregant at St. Ladislaus RC Church, (Holy Family Parish) in New Brunswick. She was the Past President of the Third Order Secular Franciscan Order.
Julia enjoyed knitting, crocheting and sewing. She loved to travel and made many trips to Europe, Switzerland, Czechoslovakia and Hungary.
Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Veronica (Yuhasz) Paller her six dear siblings and her beloved husband Joseph G. Fliszar in 2003. Julia is survived by her loving children Gary J. Fliszar and Lynette M. Fliszar.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Gowen Funeral Home, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 3 - 7 pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 10:30 am at St. Ladislaus RC Church, 215 Somerset Street, New Brunswick. Entombment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswiock, NJ.
