Judy Ann Nemeth

September 20, 1954 — February 4, 2025

East Brunswick

Judy Ann Nemeth, 70, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on September 20, 1954, to Ethel Vagi and Frank Nemeth of East Brunswick, New Jersey.

Judy graduated from East Brunswick Public High School and later became employed as Head Chef with Brunswick Park Nursing Home in New Brunswick for over 15 years. Thereafter, Judy retired from the Board of Education in South Brunswick after 26 years of serving as a school bus driver. She absolutely adored all of the children she transported to and from school, making their day brighter with her infectious smile and songs of cheer. After her retirement, Judy made memories by filling her days with music and laughter, trips to her favorite beach, Seaside Heights, and especially fond times with her adored granddaughter, Lianna Sophia Matias.

Judy was predeceased by the love of her life, Alfred Matias in 1989.

Judy was loved by so many friends near and far along her life journey that inspired and motivated her. She left such a thumbprint on the lives of so many with her keen sense of humor that people would hardly ever forget her.

Judy is survived by her; wonderful caretaker and cheerleader, her beautiful daughter, Lauren Nicole Nemeth-Matias Otero; wonderful son in law, Jose Angel Otero; most loving sister, Gail Krosnowski and husband Raymond Krosnowski; siblings, Ruth Lynch, Frank, Jr. and William Nemeth; nieces, Jolanda Santana and family, Carmen Auciello and family, Iris Matias and family, and Stephanie Krosnowski; adored nephews, Raymond Krosnowski and wife Suzanne, Alexander Krosnowski and wife Claudine, Frankie Krosnowski and Ryan Lynch; along with many cousins.

We will all cherish our memories of Judy and her memory will forever be a blessing in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations towards Judy’s granddaughter’s college fund. Also, a percentage will be donated back to The Children’s Hospital of Saint Peter’s in New Brunswick. Please indicate such in the memo line when donating electronically.
