Juan Dejesus Azcona, 79, passed away at the Regency Heritage Care Center,Somerset, NJ on Tuesday, February 4, 2020. He was born and raised in San Jose de los Matos, Dominican Republic and arrived in New Brunswick, NJ in 1984. He has been a resident of New Brunswick for 36 years.
Juan never retired, he worked part time as a factory worker with Colgate Palmolive Company in Piscataway until his health took a turn for the worse about a year ago.
A man of great responsibility, Juan was always giving advise to his family members. Juan enjoyed dancing, eating and praying and being with his family. Juan never ate fast foods except for Pizza, home cooking was his favorite.
Predeceased by his parents Ramon and Isabel (Peralta) Azcona, four of his siblings and his son Lupo Azcona. He leaves behind a legacy of many, especially his beloved wife of 56 years, Maria D. Rodriguez Azcona, his loving children, Elia, Hilda, Amparo, Martina, Victor, Sergio, Carmen and Jose Manuel, his cherished seventeen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and his dear ten brothers and sisters and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will take p[lace at the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ on Sunday, February 9, 2020 from 4 - 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be said at Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church, 75 Morris Street, New Brunswick, NJ on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 10 am. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick, NJ.
