Jose L. Montes, 88, passed away on Sunday evening, October 22, 2017 at the Willow Creek at Genesis Nursing and Rehab Center in Somerset, NJ. He was born in Guatemala and came to the United States in his early years.
He had worked for the Cascade Company for many years before retiring.
Jose was predeceased by his parents, Alberto Hernandez and Dolores Montes, many of his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his beloved wife Maria (Gonzalez) Montes, his devoted children Otto Montes, Gladys Soto and Luis A. Montes, his cherished eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren and his dear brother Carlos Montes.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 7 08 pm at the Iglesia Cristiana Pentecostal Asambleas de Dios. Cremation will be private at the Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick, NJ.
