Mr. John F. Stig

John Stig of Bridgewater, NJ passed away on September 4, 2021 at the age of 69.
John was born on April 8, 1952 in New Brunswick, NJ. He graduated from Franklin
High School and eventually moved to Bridgewater with his family in 1981. He was a
dedicated employee of High Grade Beverage in South Brunswick, NJ for 49 years.
You could also find him serving his friends at O'Brien's Tavern for many, many
years.
John was an avid saltwater fisherman and created many memories on the water
with his kids and his friends. He was very proud of his 1972 El Camino Hot Rod.
John was a lifelong Teamsters Union Member where he served many roles as an
Executive Board Member and was pleased of his accomplishments to make the
workplace better for him and his coworkers.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ann, of 44 years. He is also survived by his two
children, Kerri Ireland (husband Chris) and Kevin Stig. In addition, he leaves behind
his beloved grandchildren Michael, Melanie and Taylor.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021
from 5pm-7pm at Bridgewater Funeral Home 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ
