Joanne R. Katchen, 93, of Monroe Township, NJ, passed away at home on September 4, 2022, surrounded by loving family. She was born in 1929 to Lillian and Carl Rothschild and was raised in New Brunswick.
Joanne graduated from Mary Washington College with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In 1950, she married Leslie Katchen and they settled in Highland Park and Edison before relocating to Monroe Township. Leslie passed away in 2019, after a 68 year marriage.
Joanne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her daughters and sons in law, Barbara and Jeffrey Kutscher and Cornelia and William Ligon; her grandchildren, Andrew Kutscher and his wife Mollie and Martie Kutscher Clark and her husband Brian Clark; and two great granddaughters, Eliza Clark and Stella Kutscher.
Memorial services will be 11AM, Friday, September 9, 2022, at Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple, 222 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ.
