Jacob (Jack) Oziel, 96, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, December 14, 2012. He was born in New Brunswick and has llived in Highland Park since 1954.
Jack owned and operated Mojax's Upholster from 1948 until his retirement in 1985.
Longtime member of Congregation Etz Ahaim, where he served on the Board of Trustees. Jack volunteered at the Central Jersey Jewish Home for the Aged in Somerset, NJ. He was a member of the ODD Fellows Halvesha Lodge. Jack was an avid golfer.
predeceased by his parents Israel and Matilda Oziel, his daughter Rhonda in 2001 and his beloved wife Bella (Bailie) (Cohen) in 2011. He is survived by his sons David and Susan Yaffe Oziel, of Rockville, MD and Dennis and Elinore Oziel. of North Brunswick, NJ, his grandchildren Jason Oziel, Alison Oziel-Henson, Miryam Oziel and Jeremy Oziel, his great grandchildren Rebecca and Brooklyn Henson and his sister Mary Naar, of Monroe, NJ.
The funeral Service will take place on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at 1:00pm at Congregation Etz Ahaim, 230 Dennison Street, Highland Park, NJ. Interment to follow in Poile Zedek Cemetery, New Brunswick, NJ.
