Ira M. "Bill" Daniels, Sr,, 61, of Somerset, NJ passed away after a long illness at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ on Saturday, June 4, 2016. He was born in Greenville, North Carolina, and at the age of 7 moved to Somerset, NJ with his family.
Bill was an Independent Truck Driver for many of the local Trucking firms. He retired in 2005 and has been enjoying life with his family, especially his great granddaughter Avry. Also after his retiring he started a Lawn Maintenance Business.
Bill loved to go fishing with his brother, Ricky. He was very dedicated to his Church and was attending Bible College before taking ill. He enjoyed singing, bowling around country in different tournaments, landscaping, grilling and BBQ in his past time.
Predeceased by his parents Boyd Spell and Marjorie (Mobley) Daniels, his brothers, Alfred and John, and his sisters, Shirley and Carrie. Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Roberta Evonne (Ruffin) Daniels, his loving children Melissa, Ira, Jr., Tanzie Jarrett, cherished grandchildren, Ajah, Elijah, Dejah, Rahshaun, Jr., Ahniyah and Aneisha, great grandchildren Avrvy and Nyla, his dear brothers Ricky and David and his sisters Pearlie, Mikki and Frances.
Visitation at Emanuel Baptist Church on Sta., June 11, from 8-9:30 am Funeral Service will begin at 10:15 am. Interment at Frankli9n Memorial Park, North Brunswick, NJ.
