Harold Wolfers,87, passed away peacefully at his residence on April, 2, 2013. He was born in Hamberg, Germany and was a refugee of the Germany Camps, through Kinder Transport, Harold made his way to England in 1939, then to Ecuador before coming to the United States in 1948. Harold has been a resident of Kendall Park since 1972.
Harold was a Corporal in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Harold was an executive in the Housewares Industries. He loved to travel to Europe and South America.
Harold was predeceased by his parents Paul and Edith (Hamburger) Wolfers, and his sister Susan and is survived by his wife Rosalyn (Wolff), his son Alan, his sister Karin and her husband John Bowers and his five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ on Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Interment at Floral Park Cemetery, South Brunswick Twp., (Deans), NJ.
