Guillermo "William" Calcagno, 64, of Princeton, NJ passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at his home. Born in Havana, Cuba, Bill, along with his family, moved to New Brunswick in June of 1967.
A 1984 graduate of Fordham University with a Bachelors of Science degree and a Masters degree in Accounting and Finance. Bill was employed for over 25 years as Director of Human Resources with the High Grade Beverage Company in Monmouth Junction, NJ. Bill attended the New School in New York City to study Culinary Arts.
He loved cooking, carpentry, enjoyed animal and reminiscing with his high school about their football days. The NY Giants was his team. Bill was a quiet man, who like taking walks along the canal with his dog, Ben.
Predeceased by his parents Antonio Calcagno and Emerita (Rodriguez) Fuentes, his legacy continues on with his former wife, Lisa Adamson Calcagno, his brother, Antonio (Tony) Calcagno, his nephew and godson, Antonio A. (Tony, Jr.) Calcagno, his aunt, Mirtha Rodriguez and his cousins, Lily, Lucho, Pedro and many other cousins in Cuba.
Family and friends may call at the Gowen Funeral Home, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ on Monday, November 22,2021 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church, 75 Morris Street, New Brunswick, NJ. Entombment to follow at the St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick, NJ.
