Frances G. (Senko) Kormondy, 93, passed away at the Chelsea Senior Living in East Brunswick, on Saturday, July 16, 2016, peacefully by her son, Steve's side, while listening to "My Blue Heaven". She was born in Milltown, NJ and was a lifelong resident of New Brunswick, before spending her last year at The Chelsea.
Frances served in the US Army/Air Force as a Private First Class during World War II. When Frances returned home, her older brother Henry introduced her to the love of her life, John Kormonday in 1946.
She enjoyed music and dancing. Frances raised her family, then went to work at Middlesex General Hospital, (RWJUH), as a dietian aide for many years.
She was predeceased by her parents Alexander and Amelia Senko and is survived by her loving children John, Steve and his wife Elaine and Esther, her eight cherished grandchildren and five great grandchildren and her dear brother Henry Senko.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the Gowen Funeral Home, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Funeral Blessing at 1:00 pm. Interment at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick, NJ.
