Mrs. Dina (Frankfurt} Katz, 90, passed away peacefully at her home in Kendall Park, NJ with her family by her side on Friday, June 10, 2022. Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, she has resided in Kendall Park for the last 55 years.
As Mrs. Katz was raising her family, she attended college and received a Masters in Social Work. She worked for several different places. Mrs. Katz retired in 1996, after 25 years service, as a Clinical Social Worker with the Richmond University Hospital in Staten Island, NY.
She was a voracious reader and loved to travel. Mrs. Katz was a former member of the Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple in New Brunswick, NJ.
Predeceased by her parents Jacob and Dora Frankfurt, her brother, Daniel Frankfurt and her husband Daniel Katz, she is survived by her children Leila and her husband Stuart Alterman and her son Dr. Aaron Katz and his wife Dr. Joanne Cohen Katz and her grandchildren Gabriel Alterman, Miriam Alterman, Benjamin Katz and Deborah Katz.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 11:30 am at Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple, 222 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ. Followed by burial in Cedar Park Cemetery in the Borough of Emerson, NJ.
