Daisy (Ayash) Frankenberg, 85 passed away at The Elms at Cranbury on Saturday, May 6, 2017. She was born in New Brunswick and had resided in Highland Park, NJ for many years before moving to Concordia in Monroe Township, 27 years ago.
Daisy was a 1949 graduate of Highland Park High School. She was a member of the Sephardic Congregation Etz Achim, Highland Park and more recently became a member at the Etz Achim-Monroe Township Jewish Center in Monroe.
Daisy's favorite month of the year was February, when she and her husband Harry would go to Fort Lauderdale, FL for the month. Having spent many Februarys in Florida, Daisy and Harry had a large circle of friends from around the world that they would look forward to seeing each year. These friends were their "February Family".
Daisy also enjoyed reading and watching the old movies on the Turner Classics Movie channel. She and her husband traveled through Europe, Israel and many other places during their married life.
Daughter of the late Simon and Rachel (Nahama) Ayash, she is survived by her husband of 63 years, Harry, her daughters, Helena and her husband David Levenson and Rochelle and her husband Mark Swercheck, her grandsons, Jared Ezyske and his wife Amanda and Justin Swercheck.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the Floral Park Cemetery, 104 Deans Rhode Hall Road, Monmouth Junction, (Deans, South Brunswick Twp.), NJ.
