Bertha Garban, of North Brunswick, formerly of Putnam, CT passed away peacefully on January 8, 2023 surrounded by loved ones at the age of 80 years. Bertha was a kind and gentle soul loved by God, family, friends and all who came in contact with her. She enjoyed watching the Yankees play baseball, reading Danielle Steele Novels, writing poetry, gardening with her granddaughters, arts and crafts such as coloring, crochet and knitting blankets. Beloved wife of Leslie Garban for 50 years. Loving mother of Leslie Diaz, Ryan Fleet, Edward Fleet, Elizabeth Anderson and Paul Fleet. Cherished grandmother of Maria Diaz, Alexis Diaz, Matthew Graham, Ashleigh Anderson, Samantha Anderson and Steven Fleet. Cherish great-grandmother of Magnolia Rose Graham, Kenny Fleet and Holly Mae Fleet. A memorial mass will be held at Magyar Reformed Church,175 Somerset Street, New Brunswick on January 21st, 2023 at 1:30 pm.
