Mrs. Bernice Klaus Weinblatt

March 17, 1927 — August 1, 2022

Bernice Klaus Weinblatt, 95 entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 1, 2022, at her residence at Bear Creek Assisted Living in West Windsor, NJ. Born in New Brunswick, NJ to Isador and Jennie (Lipson) Klaus. She resided in New Brunswick until the age of 18, relocating in Camden, NJ for 3 years while in Nurses Training at Cooper Hospital. Bernice lived in New York for over 64 years before making her permanent residence Bear Creek Assisted Living in West Windsor in 2013.
Bernice was employed as a Registered Nurse with Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York for 35 years. After retiring from nursing, she volunteered at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, (MOMA), in the Costume Institute and International Center for Photography. As a hobby, Bernice handcrafted jewelry for 20 years. She enjoyed travel and needlepoint.
Predeceased by her parents and cousin, Irving Klaus and his wife Gert, she is survived by her niece Sara-Ann Goldman, her nephew Allen Goldman and a cousin, Barbara Rosenberg.
Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 10:30 am at Washington Cemetery, Dean Rhode Hall Road, Deans,(South Brunswick Twp.), NJ
