Barbara (Kamens) Plotnick, 72, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Princeton Medical Center, Plainsboro, NJ. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, moved to Kendall Park in 1978 and has spent the last few years in Monroe Township, NJ.
She was employed for fifteen years with Recycled Paper Products, based in Chicago, IL before becoming the owner of Good Vibrations Gift Shop in the Freehold Raceway Mall.
Barbara was the mother we all wished to have...always involved with her children at home, with their schools activities and outside sports adventures. She was the "class mom" who loved all the children and animals, especially, Brutus. As time went on, Barbara became a grandmother of four, each one was spoiled to the max.
She loved to read, enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City and shopping. Barbara, also loved to play board games and card games, like mah jongg and canasta.
Barbara volunteered with Meals on Wheels, many of the Youth Programs at Congregation B'nai Tikvah, the Sisterhood and Hadassah.
Predeceased by her parents Martin and Hilda (Snyder) Kamens, she leaves behind her legacy of her beloved husband, Joseph Plotnick, her loving children Stacey and her husband Louis Finkel and Brian Plotnick and his wife Holly and her cherished grandchildren, Caleb and Max Finkel and Lillian and Noah Plotnick.
Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 1 pm at Congregation B'nai Tikvah, 1001 Finnegan's Lane, North Brunswick, Nj. Interment to follow at Washington Cemetery, Dean Rhodes Hall Road, South Brunswick, NJ.
