Azeem Hamid Seawright was born September 9,1981 in New Brunswick, New Jersey at St. Peter's Medical Center. He was the eighth child of Michael Seawright, Sr. and Chrystal J. Morris.
He attended elementary and high school in the New Brunswick School District. He was a licensed Contractor and held a contract breaking down the infrastructure of buildings. He was a licensed Painter and Carpenter. At a young age, Azeem showed an affinity for mechanics and computers. He built his first transistor radio at five years old and then moved on to building computers. He was deeply fascinated by Space and Space exploration that started with his love of Star Trek. A passionate Trekkie, he spent countless hours studying and debating Cosmology and Space-Time.
A certified electrician, Azeem was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).
Azeem was Fire, Water, and Mold certified. He worked for ServiceMaster Clean for many years before joining Wilson Carpet and Air Duct Cleaning as a junior partner.
A lifelong food connoisseur, he then embraced his passion and began his career as a chef. After taking culinary classes and earning his SafeServ certification, Chef Azeem held numerous positions and worked private events.
He spent the last four years (via The Compass Group and previously Sodexo) at Rutgers University as the Breakfast Sous-Chef for the University Sports Program, serving the Rutger's men's football team, women's basketball team, and special events.
Azeem took classes at Union County College and was studying Physiology and Business Management. An avid reader, he thrived on politics. He gladly debated anyone for hours. It was hard to win a debate against Azeem.
Multi-talented, Azeem was an accomplished song writer, poet, musician, and lyricist; having sold music and with recording contracts with several labels.
Azeem was LIFE. Passionate in his convictions. Steady in his mannerisms. He absorbed experiences and was genuinely energized by meeting new people. Everyone remembers the very first time they met Zeemo. Cool, Engaging, Fashionable, a bit of a Charmer. He had one of the sweetest smiles.
He was always ready to tell you about something fascinating he watched or read. He loved Anime, Movies, the NY Giants, Painting, Boxing, Marvel, and Comic Super Heroes. He deeply loved his family and spent hours with his father, mother, siblings, nieces, nephews, and siblings of the heart.
Strong and Protective, He was the type of man who would brave the storm for anyone he called Friend, Family or Brother.
