Angela Serrano Almodovar, 79, passed away at her residence on Friday evening, September 28, 2018 with her family at her side. She was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and had lived in Manhattan before moving to New Brunswick, NJ in 2005.
Angela and her husband "Don Eddy" were longtime members and elders of the Iglesia Pentecostal de Dios Viela.
She worked as a secretary for the New Brunswick Board of education. Angela enjoyed crocheting and sewing.
Predeceased by her parents Vicente and Carmen (Maldonado) Serrano, loving wife of Heriberto "Don Eddy" Almodovar, beloved mother of Mary Louise, Carmen Estelle, Heriberto, Jr. and Paul Almodovar, her six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, her dear sister and brother, Nellie and Peter.
Visiting will take place on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 5-9 pm at the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ. Concluding Services on Thursday, October 4th at 10 am at the funeral home, with the interment at Elmwood Cemetery.
