Mrs. Ana Lucia Cabrera, 76, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in San Jose Matos, Dominican Republic, she came to Manhattan, NY in 1993. Ana had lived in Manhattan for many years before coming to New Brunswick, NJ.
Ana was a very active member of Good Shepard RC Church in Manhattan. When she moved to New Brunswick, Ana attended St. John the Baptist RC Church. Ana loved to pray the Rosary.
She was a jokester and in her earlier years loved to dance.
Predeceased by her parents Francisco and Olympia (Peralta) Cabrera, she is survived by her loving children Herminia, Fatima, Rafaelina, Felicia, Fausto and Alexandra Salcedo, her cherished eighteen grandchildren and her four great grandchildren, her dear brothers and sisters in the Dominican Republic, her two nephew in the United States and many more nieces and nephews in the Dominican Republic.
Visitation will be held at the Creabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 6-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of Mt. Virgin RC Church corner of Sandford Street and Resen Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 10 am.
