Mrs. Alice (Kecskemity) Mayo, 94, passed aaway on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center, Edison, NJ. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, she has lived in Edison for many years.
Mrs. Mayo was a member of the Magyar Reformed church, New Brunswick.
Predeceased by her parents John and Rosa (Bella) Kecskemity and her husband Joseph D. Mayo in 2005, she is survived by her son Jeffrey Mayo and his wife Karen, of Jamesburg, NJ, her daughters Deborah and her husband Freddy Vajda, of East Brunswick, NJ, and Patricia Harper, of East Brunswick, NJ and her two grandchildren Jeremy and Zachary Vajda.
Visiting will take place at the Gowen Funeral Home, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 4-8 pm. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 10 am at the Magyar Reformed Church, 175 Somerset Street, New Brunswick, NJ. Interment to follow at the Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick, NJ.
