Alan S. Shapiro, 69, died Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Robert Wood JOhnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ, after a brief illness. He was born and raised in Detroit, MI and has lived for many years in East Brunswick, NJ.
Alan was predeceased by his parents Hyman and Mildred (Schackman) Shapiro and his survived by his sister Beth, of Lubbock, TX, his brother Martin and his wife Nancy, of East Brunswick, NJ, three nieces, one nephew, five grandnieces and two grandnephews.
Graveside service will be held on Monday, December 31 at 11:00am at Beth Israel Cemetery,Woodbridge, NJ.
Shiva at the home of Martin and Nancy Shipiro on Tuesday and Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Alan.
